Standard chain length for this necklace is 17” or but also available at any length.
The chain is14k gold filled, with a lobster claw clasp. This necklace can be submerged in water and without tarnishing the gold. Avoid direct contact with lotion and oils for the longevity of the metal, but can be worn after lotion or oil is applied and dried.

Here are some precautions one should take when wearing these pieces! 
Hold necklaces close to your body when bending down or reaching over a table/hard surface. Keep jewelry dry and away from water, take pieces off when bathing, swimming, washing hands. When wearing rings take care not to slam your hand down on any hard surfaces, etc!
